Andrew K. Borg

Andrew Borg has built his law career much the way he designed and hand-crafted a wooden play-kitchen for his daughter, with integrity, functionality and perfection in mind.

“I’m a bit of a perfectionist,” admits Andrew who in is spare time likes to “dabble” in woodworking. “I don’t have enough time to really get into making furniture, but maybe someday I will.”

Today, Andrew serves clients of the northern courts from the Sacramento Office, and spends a great deal of time striving for perfection in his work for the defense. His case load extends over a large portion of Northern California, an area he has come to embrace.

“I love the Sierras and my wife and I enjoy camping and hiking whenever we can. Now that the kids are off to college, we do have more time for the outdoors.”

Growing up in Southern California’s Culver City, a highly urbanized suburb of Los Angeles, his new home in Auburn provides a striking contrast to urban living and a career behind a desk or in front of the judicial bench.

“Anytime we can get out and head up I-80 toward the mountains, is a good time. Camping and fishing are refreshing escapes that allow me to recharge for the challenges ahead.”

As a political science major at UCLA, Andrew found an interest in constitutional law and personal rights. In law school at Southwestern University, he served as a law clerk for insurance defense.

“I was attracted to the defense side from the start. I enjoy working with our clients, and it has given me a unique insight to my interests in people and business in general.”

The play-kitchen he built for his daughter has now been handed down to family members, but his career in law is still on the front burners of courts in Northern California.
